7:30a.m. Gates open Student in Years 1 to 6 may be dropped off / buses arrive
7:45a.m. Reception Children may be taken to class by parents
8:00a.m. Students enter classrooms
8:00 a.m. to 8:15a.m. Registration and devotion (registers close at 8:30am arrival after this time will result in a late mark in the register)
8:30 a.m. Instruction Begins / Lessons Start
9:30 am – 10:00a.m. Reception Break
10:15 a.m. – 10:30a.m. Morning break / Snack -Infants (Yrs. 1-2) / Juniors (Yrs. 3 to 6)
11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Reception Lunch

Children must be collected by 3:30p.m. Unless they are attending clubs
The Morning Routine

- No pupils should arrive before 7:30 a.m.;
- No dropping off before 7:30 a.m.;
- Students arrive at school and go onto the playground through the side gate;
- Buses arrive – pupils go straight onto the playground through the side gate;
- Students must not enter the building through the front door;
- If a parent needs to see a member of staff, they may do so after they have seen their child onto the playground;
- No students may enter the building, children must keep their bags with them or put them under the large cabana;

7:45a.m. - 1xSenior Staff comes on Duty.
- 2xReception staff on duty in class.
| - The door opens for breakfast children ONLY! (Monitored by Senior Staff Member);
- Students may come into the building 2 at a time for the toilet with a senior member of staff's permission;
- Reception students may begin arriving;
- No Reception students may arrive before 7:45 a.m. unless a parent or guardian stays with them;
- Reception students must be taken by a parent or guardian to their classroom and handed over to a member of reception staff;
- Only once the reception children are safely in class with a member of the reception staff may parent / guardians leave;

8:15 a.m. | - Bell is rung, everyone freezes, and the students are called to line up year group at a time in their classes;
- Years 1 – 6 the senior member of staff leads the morning prayer and invites classes to enter the building one class at a time (each class led by a prefect);
- Teachers meet their classes at the classroom door.

8:15 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. | - Children arriving after their class has gone in must enter through the side door and go straight to class.

- The side gate will be locked;

End of Day Routine | | School finishes at 3:00pm* (see below for exceptions to this). It is the parent's / guardian's responsibility to ensure that their children are collected in a timely fashion at the end of the school day. We expect all parents to make arrangements to ensure their children are collected on time at the end of the school day. Child care arrangements are your responsibility. If in exceptional circumstances you have an emergency and cannot collect your child you must ring and let us know immediately. (A record will be kept of these exceptional incidents). All parents and guardians have a responsibility to ensure we have up-to-date contact details and an emergency contact for their child. - Students will be taken out to the front of the school and sit on the benches;
- Reception students must be collected no later than 2:45p.m.

- Students will be taken to the front of the school and seated according to the plan below;
- Students travelling on the bus are taken to the bus port they are supervised by the member of staff on bus duty and the bus warden.
| 3:30p.m. | - Pupils must be collected by 3:30p.m. (Unless they are attending a club – From October see below).
- A list will be made of those children who are collected late.
- Parents of students who are collected late regularly will be asked to meet with the Principal to discuss the issue.
- We will contact 911 for students who are uncollected by 5:30p.m.
| 3:15 to 4:15p.m. | - *Clubs (from October);
- Pupils attending clubs must be collected by 4:30p.m.

End of Day Arrangements At 2:50 Reception will sit on the bench and wait to be collected – reception staff will wait with the children to ensure they are collected by a known person.
At 3:00 Year 1 and 2 (any remaining Reception students will be grouped together nearest the main entrance with a duty member of staff) and wait to be collected. Years 2 to 6 must be led out by the class teacher (or teacher who has then at the end of the day) and they must be sat in two lines (per class) in their designated area. Once the class is seated and settled the teacher, unless on duty, may go.
The expectation is that pupils will sit quietly in their class lines and wait to be picked up.
