Welcome to an exciting and new school year but most
importantly welcome to the BEST SCHOOL IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE, Sir John A.
Cumber Primary School! I am your new
Principal and my name is Mrs. Wright. I
am from the district of West Bay and I was also a student at West Bay Primary
many years ago. So, I can definitely
attest to the fact that this is indeed the best school on the planet! I am totally thrilled to be here as principal
and I’m truly looking forward to working with each and every one of you as we
AIM HIGH together!
Education is the key to success in life and teachers make a
lasting impact in the lives of their students.
With this being said, I have dedicated my entire life to the field of
education and I am truly passionate about education; it means the world to me. My goal is to ensure that every single
student has access to the best education possible and receives the necessary
support and services to support them in reaching their full potential.
I am a graduate of Georgia State University of Atlanta,
Georgia where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Mathematics and
Language Arts. I also attained my
Master’s Degree in Education Leadership, Curriculum, and Instruction at the
University of Tampa. I previously taught
at Prospect Primary School and at George Town Primary School. Before assuming my role as Principal of
SJACPS, I worked in the Ministry of Education in various roles where I gained
invaluable experiences. Presently, I am
pursuing my Ph. D. in Education at Walden University.
As Principal of SJACPS, one of my main priorities is to
ensure that every single child receives a fair chance to learn and excel in
school. In order to achieve the high
expectations that we have set for each student, it is vital that we work
cooperatively as a team to help our young children who are bursting with
potential. I am confident that every
single student will make progress and meet or exceed the expected targets. However, this is a partnership and I need
your full support and continued cooperation throughout the school year. We can achieve anything once we work
together and put our minds to it and this is what we must instill in our
children. All the best in the upcoming
academic year!
Yours Truly,
Mrs.Wright
