Welcome to the new academic year! Our commitment at George Town Primary School is to provide a safe and intellectually stimulating environment that will enable our students to accomplish their full potential. It is our mandate to empower our learners to be innovative, critical thinkers and creative problem solvers in order for them to function effectively in the twenty-first century.

GTPS is a school with high standards and expectations for all students. All stakeholders are serious about raising expectations for every student at every level in every classroom. We believe in the mantra-Every Child Can Learn. We highlight not only high achievement but effort. We have a plethora of co-curricular activities to support our academic programmes thoroughly to which our students can develop positive skills. We take pride in promoting leadership, responsibility, respect and readiness among all learners. It is with pride that we promote the school’s Mantra and Core Values which are entrenched on the principles of achieving excellence, greatness, success, team work, positive attitude and potential development. We believe these values are key to enable our students to become responsible members of this country. We have an excellent track record in sports and a rich legacy in catering to the holistic development of our learners.

GTPS has strong leadership coupled with a team of committed teachers who continue to go beyond the call of duty in order to raise achievement. The continuous contribution of our students, parents, past students, community members and donors makes GTPS an exceptional learning community. This is the place to shine!
