On behalf of all of the teachers, support staff, and administrators of the Edna M. Moyle Primary School, welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. We are committed to every child's academic growth, demand excellence of all our students, and will work together to support a safe and healthy learning environment in our school. Serving our students remains our most important priority.
Collaboration is so important to all of these goals. Effective learning and teaching at every level of our school system depends on strong partnerships between students and teachers, parents and teachers, volunteers and school, and educators and support staff. We value open communication and encourage you to let us know how things are going, especially when you feel your child needs additional support. Giving a child a strong academic foundation is the key to helping him or her navigate an uncertain future. Mastering our National Curriculum and developing a strong habit of school attendance are the best ways to ensure success in school. We urge you to help keep the focus on study habits and homework as well as arriving at school each day ready to learn.
This Student/Parent Handbook provides important information about our school's policies and procedures. Please read it carefully and keep it available. If you have any questions, we will be happy to assist you.
