The emphasis and end goal at East End Primary School is 'progress'. We believe it is important to meet each student where they are and work from this point to their next point of academic success respecting wherever the starting point might be. Einstein said, "Everybody is a genius; but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid."
By shifting our focus from general high attainment to individualized progress we have been able to respect and better cater to our students' individual levels. Thus far this approach has positively changed school life for our students. We have seen our students become more interested in their learning; they have developed an increased desire to be on time for and active in the classes. Daily they are acquiring a desire and drive to make progress that is increasingly self-led.
